As a Lead Pastry Cook at VERDE NYC, you will play a key role in executing and maintaining the high-quality pastry standards of our brand. You will oversee production in the pastry section, assist with training team members, and ensure that every dessert served meets our expectations for taste, presentation, and consistency.Responsibilities:Prepare, plate, and execute refined desserts following the group’s quality and consistency standardsSupervise, guide, and mentor pastry cooks, demi-chefs, and commis in the pastry sectionWork closely with the Executive Chef and culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operationsMaintain high standards of quality, creativity, and presentation in all dessert offeringsFollow strict hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards (HACCP)Assist with menu development, dessert tastings, and evolving the pastry programSupport inventory management, ordering, and control of pastry ingredientsRequirements:Proven experience as a Pastry Cook, Senior Pastry Sous Chef, or similar role in a high-end or fast-paced kitchenStrong technical skills in classical and modern pastry, with a keen eye for flavor and presentationExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyCreativity, teamwork, and a passion for pastry artsSolid understanding of hygiene and food safety regulations (HACCP)Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality standardsWhy Join YEEELS Group?
