What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Real Estate Agent position at Verdad Commercial Real Estate Services?
Verdad Commercial Real Estate Services is hiring a commercial real estate agent for our Clearwater office. We are a listing brokerage in Tampa Bay. Each agent owns a territory and a product type and spends the day talking to property owners. Most of the rest of the work sits with us.
Here is how I run it. I'm not going to hold your hand, but I'm also not going to leave you high and dry. I'm invested in you and I want you invested in the process.

What you'll do
- Call property owners in your territory every day and build real relationships with them
- Win listings with a Broker Opinion of Value backed by our underwriting
- Represent sellers, buyers, landlords and tenants on retail and investment deals
- Bring deals to the table and see them through to close
What we handle so you can stay on the phone
- Underwriting and BOV production with me and our marketing team
- Weekly market emails to the owners in your territory, sent under your name
- A dashboard that ranks the owners in your territory by how likely they are to sell
- County records, sale comps and lease comps pulled for you
What you get
- 1099 commission with strong splits

- 60 hours of training in property analysis, business development and underwriting
- Access to private equity investment opportunities
- Estimated first-year earnings of $165,000 to $220,000
What you need
- A Florida Sales Associate, Broker or Broker Associate license, or the ability to get one within 60 days
- A business degree or a sales or finance background helps
- Comfort with numbers. If you can't read a T12 and a rent roll yet, we'll teach you.
- The discipline to make the calls when nobody is watching
