Lead Designer under Lindsay's Creative Direction
Responsibilities
* design, technical design, development, and production for all seasons
* managing interns
* sourcing yarns, fabrics, trims
* lead in fittings
* keeping track of timeline range plan
* cads, specs, tech packs, BOMS
* point person for factories mills -
responsive to them even in off hours depending on urgency of timeline
* oversee manage shipments for all of the above
* design pitch each season, organizing mood board collection build out
(merchandising eye)
* compilation of assets for other teams (i.e. grade to size measurement charts for
ecom)
* creation of linesheets (for both internal external use)
Requirements
* at least 1 year working in a design asst position
* experience w excel, photoshop, illustrator, indd
* hand knitting and machine knitting (must be able to knit on a double bed)
experience - vast technical knowledge of fully fashioned knits (cut sew,
wovens experience is a plus)
*Pattern-making, sewing, print layout knowledge
* BFA in fashion design required
*Eager and excited about the Verconiik world interested in playful design
*Organized, attentive, self-starter personality
*Design research - archival interests and ability to pull references from a breadth of
resources
Salary : $50,000 - $65,000
