VerCom Inc. is a leading construction company that specializes in civil engineering projects. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Foreman to join our team in Somerset, Wisconsin.

As the Civil Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of civil construction projects. This includes planning, organizing, and supervising the work of the construction crew, as well as ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of civil construction projects, including budget, schedule, materials, and labor.
• Supervise and lead a team of construction workers, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and to high quality standards.
• Interpret project plans and blueprints, and ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with specifications.
• Monitor and maintain project progress, and make adjustments to the schedule as needed.
• Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure that all parties are informed of project status and any potential issues.
• Enforce safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all workers.
• Order and track materials and equipment, and ensure that they are delivered to the job site in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure that work is being carried out according to plans and specifications.
• Train and mentor junior workers, and provide guidance and support as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in construction management is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Extensive knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and materials.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret project plans and blueprints.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
