Job Description Summary We are excited to announce an opening for a Medical Assistant at our Tampa office! In this role, you will perform both clinical and administrative duties under the direct supervision of our Physicians. Your warm and welcoming demeanor will help put patients at ease throughout their visit, as you provide support during diagnostic examinations and treatments, administer medications, draw blood, and facilitate communication between patients and physicians. How will you make an impact & Requirements Key Responsibilities: Triage patients and draw blood (venipuncture). Ensure patients are in the exam room within 15 minutes of check-in. Scan patient documents into the system. Assist physicians with procedures and lab requests. Prepare patient charts 24 hours in advance. Answer patient messages and process refill requests promptly. Maintain organized and stocked medication, exam, and lab rooms. Perform routine lab tests and complete HEDIS measures. Coordinate patient flow and maintain records. Participate in quality improvement and continuing education, and ensure compliance with legal and safety standards.
