LAB SERVICES INTEGRATIONS MANAGER

Job Description Summary ‎ The Lab Services Integrations Manager is responsible for overseeing the seamless integration of laboratory information systems, equipment, and workflows across clinical laboratory operations. This role serves as a bridge between laboratory operations, IT infrastructure, and external partners to ensure efficient data exchange and system interoperability post-mergers, acquisitions or joint ventures. ‎ How will you make an impact & Requirements ‎ Hours & Location: Full Time: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Southwest FL, some travel included Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. **System Integration & Implementation** - Lead the design, development, and implementation of laboratory system integrations including LIS (Laboratory Information Systems), EHR/EMR, and laboratory instruments and training. - Manage HL7, FHIR, and other data exchange protocols to ensure accurate bidirectional communication between systems - Coordinate instrument interfacing projects and troubleshoot connectivity issues - Evaluate new or existing technologies and integration opportunities to improve laboratory efficiency _ set up or transfer CLIA license and account set up with lab vendors. **Project Management** - Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation for integration initiatives - Collaborate with vendors, IT teams, and laboratory staff to execute integration projects on schedule and within budget - Conduct testing, validation, and quality assurance for all new integrations - Document integration specifications, workflows, and standard operating procedures **Stakeholder Collaboration** - Partner with laboratory directors and technical staff to understand integration needs - Work closely with IT and LIS administration teams to align laboratory systems with organizational technology infrastructure - Serve as primary liaison with external vendors and system providers - Train laboratory staff on new systems and integration functionality **Operational Support & Optimization** - Monitor system performance and troubleshoot integration issues - Implement process improvements to streamline laboratory workflows - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including CLIA, HIPAA, and other applicable standards - Maintain system documentation and integration inventories Education and Licensure: - Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field - Clinical laboratory certification (MLS, MT, CLS) - 5 years of experience in laboratory operations or healthcare IT - Strong understanding of laboratory information systems and clinical workflows - Familiarity with regulatory compliance in clinical laboratories Benefits: 3 weeks PTO & 8 paid holidays Medical, Dental, Vision Employer Paid Basic Life & Short Term Disability coverage (goes into effect after 1 year of full-time employment) 401(k) with match Employee Wellness Other Employee Discount programs like Tickets at Work and cell phone discounts Other benefits: Dependent Care FSA, Voluntary Life, Long Term Disability, Critical Illness, Pet Insurance, and more Why Millennium?
