Verandah is a one-stop shop beginning with customizing orders through our Creative team. From there, our factory in Boise decorates, packs, and ships orders directly to our customers across 44 states and over 550 locations.
Verandah is seeking a full-time content creator and graphic designer to join our Creative Team. Our creative team works directly with customers as brand advisors, creating custom projects in addition to our products available directly through our Shopify stores. This position will be responsible for capturing all marketing media for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, as well as engagement and growth tracking. Additionally, this position will be responsible for creating and editing graphics through Adobe Illustrator, generating purchase orders, and performing other important miscellaneous tasks.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Create engaging visual content, including photos and videos, to showcase the team in action, highlight products, and support social media campaigns.
- Capture high-quality close-up product shots that align with brand aesthetics and messaging.
- Photograph team members for professional bio posts and other promotional materials.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute content that aligns with social media strategies.
- Edit and optimize content (photos, videos, etc.) for various social media platforms to ensure consistency and quality.
- Stay updated on social media trends to propose fresh and innovative content ideas.
- Maintain and organize a library of digital assets for easy access and future use.
- Generate purchase orders.
- Assist in purchasing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing, business administration, or related field
- Minimum of ~1 year of experience in photography, videography, and content creation for social media platforms.
- Minimum of ~1 year of experience in Adobe Illustrator.
- Proficiency with cameras, lighting equipment, and editing software.
- Strong eye for detail and ability to capture visually appealing, brand-aligned content.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of current social media trends and best practices as well as the ability to track growth and engagement progress.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
