Job Summary
VeraData Holdings LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join its finance team. This position is responsible for supporting the integrity of the Company’s financial operations, including general ledger activity, account reconciliations, and the month-end and year-end close processes. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and maintaining compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). This position reports directly to the Corporate Controller and requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams across the organization.

VeraData Holdings LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join its finance team. Supervisory Responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities
- Reconcile monthly bank accounts
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies
- Prepare monthly close journal entries
- Back-up support for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Assist with cash applications in both Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and data analysis.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Experience with ERP systems
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
- This position requires to be in office Monday - Friday at our Cape Coral location.
- Must be able to sit or stand at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to participate in virtual meetings, requiring clear communication and active listening.
- Occasional light travel for team meetings or client visits may be needed, depending on the role’s expectations.
- Must manage tasks efficiently in a digital environment that involves multitasking and prioritizing work.
