Verad created Verification Media: a new advertising category that opens the interactive layer of human verification to brands.
Verification today operates across two layers. An invisible one, where behavioral analysis and proprietary bot detection run passively in the background. And a visible one, where users must actively prove their humanity through CAPTCHAs, OTPs, identity checks, or login challenges. We work on the visible layer. Wherever users have to tap, type, or complete a challenge, our Touch units replace that interactive friction with a branded experience: a sponsored poll, a quick trivia, a tap-to-reveal. The user verifies. The publisher monetizes a previously dead moment. The advertiser gets attention guaranteed by design, measured in eCPVH (effective Cost per Verified Human).
We partner with a growing roster of premium publishers across the Americas. We are scaling our commercial team for the first time in the US.
The Role
This is the founding US commercial leadership role at Verad. Based in Miami, reporting directly to the CEO. You will own US Hispanic and Multicultural Markets sales, coordinate with our LatAm team on cross-border accounts, and lead opportunistic US General Market expansion.
What You Will Do
- Own the US Hispanic and Multicultural commercial strategy end-to-end: account planning, agency relationships, brand-direct outreach, pricing, forecasting.
- Build and sign master agency agreements with the top US media holding companies and their multicultural divisions: Publicis Media, Omnicom Media Group, IPG Mediabrands, GroupM, Dentsu, Havas Media.
- Drive direct relationships with brand-side media decision makers at top US Hispanic advertisers across CPG, beverage, QSR, telco, auto, financial services, and retail.
- Evangelize Verification Media as a category through industry events, trade press, and thought leadership.
- Coordinate with the LatAm commercial team in Argentina and Mexico on cross-border accounts.
- Hire and build the US team over the next 12 to 18 months.
- Partner directly with the CEO on go-to-market, pricing, investor narrative, and category positioning.
What We Are Looking For
- 7 years of digital advertising sales, with deep experience in US Hispanic, Multicultural, or Latin American media.
- Track record of selling into the major US media holding companies and their Multicultural divisions.
- Active relationships with senior media buyers, planners, and brand-side decision makers in Miami and across holding company networks.
- Native or near-native bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
- Comfort selling a new category. You have done it before: programmatic in 2014, CTV in 2018, attention metrics, retail media. Pick your reference.
- Operator mindset. You build the deck, run the call, negotiate the IO, and close the deal.
Strongly Preferred
- Background at an ad tech company that sold a new category, format, or measurement framework.
- Time spent at a major US Hispanic or LatAm publisher, broadcaster, streaming platform, programmatic SSP/DSP, or measurement vendor.
- Experience scaling the US presence of a non-US headquartered company.
