Key Responsibilities
Solutioning & Workshops
- Conduct workshops with business SMEs, architects, and developers.
- Lead process solutioning discussions and provide recommendations for system enhancements.
- Identify, design, and implement complex SAP PP configuration solutions.
- Develop, update, and maintain technical documentation.
- Perform full-cycle SAP PP configuration and support.
- Translate functional specifications into application design.
- Coordinate with ABAP team for WRICEF objects; lead development as needed.
- Prepare test plans, create test scripts, and perform unit/integration testing.
- Support issue resolution during testing cycles and lead root cause analysis.
- Utilize SAP Solution Manager for project documentation and monitoring.
- Work with internal business teams, solution architects, developers, and system integrators.
- Ensure alignment with SAP Activate methodology and Agile (SAFe) development practices.
- Contribute to project planning and methodology adherence.
- Support SAP Project Systems (SAP PS).
- Provide expertise in MRP, BOMs, work centers, routing, capacity leveling, strategy groups, PPDS fundamentals, and FIORI apps.
- Ensure system integration across Sales, Procurement, Costing, Quality, and Plant Maintenance modules.
- Manage material master, batch handling, scrap, serial number management, ECM/OCM, and repetitive/discrete manufacturing processes.
- 8-10 years of overall SAP PP experience with at least 8 years in SAP PP consulting.
- At least one full end-to-end implementation in SAP S/4 HANA.
- Deep knowledge of SAP PP processes, configuration, and S/4 HANA capabilities.
- Strong experience working with interfaces, batch jobs, user exits, and standard SAP reports.
- Ability to handle WRICEF object development with ABAP team.
- Experience working in large, complex business environments (Aerospace/Defense preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- SAP PS experience.
- Interchangeability functionality and special planning procedures.
- ECM/OCM, serial number management, and central function activities.
- Working knowledge with WBS elements.
- SAP PPDS fundamentals.
- SAP Quality Management exposure.
- SAP Activate methodology certification preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
