How Will You Make An Impact & Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient intakes: vitals, medical histories, medications, allergies
- Assist providers with exams, minor procedures, wound care, and diagnostic testing
- Perform injections, immunizations, phlebotomy, and specimen collection
- Complete point‑of‑care testing and prepare lab samples
- Maintain infection control, safety protocols, and clinical room readiness
- Support triage, care coordination, and patient follow‑up
- Provide patient education on medications, treatment plans, and preventive care
- Document accurately in the EHR and follow HIPAA, OSHA, and CLIA standards
- Assist with scheduling, referrals, authorizations, and front‑office support as needed
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and teamwork in a fast‑paced clinic
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA/CCMA)
- 2 years of Medical Assistant experience (primary care preferred)
- Strong skills in injections, phlebotomy, specimen collection, and EKGs
- Experience with EHR systems and accurate documentation
- Reliable, detail‑oriented, and committed to excellent patient care
- Strong communication and multitasking abilities
