Pet Caretaker

We are so excited to start looking for more positive, highly motivated, team oriented individuals who enjoy playing and loving on dogs and communicating to their dog parents.

Duties include but are not limited too, keeping the facility clean, building rapport with the dogs and their parents, basic knowledge of dog behavior, shift leading, getting tasks completed supervised or unsupervised, administration of medication (non injection) and speaking to the parents about their pups in our care. Experience in the industry is preferred but not a requirement. This role may require 30-40 hours. Must be able to work Holidays and Weekends (may not be scheduled on a holiday or weekend but availability is required).

Responsibilities of customer care

• Manage incoming calls

• Generate sales

• Identify and assess the parents' needs to achieve satisfaction

• Build sustainable relationships and trust with parents through open and interactive communication

• Meet personal/customer service team sales

• Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents

• Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies

• Take the extra mile to engage customers

• Strong active listening skills

• Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Responsibility for dog care

• Play and monitor dogs in play yards

• Learning and watching dog behaviors

• Having fun and being interactive with the dogs in the play yards

• Learning dogs names

• Cleaning the rooms after dogs spend the night

• Picking up after dogs, both inside and outside

• Administration of medication and recording; orally and topically meds (non injection)

• Preparing and setting down appropriate foods

• Setting out, refilling and refreshing water bowls and buckets

• Washing dishes & doing laundry

• Cleaning and maintaining the facilty as a whole, including but not limited to, sweeping/mopping yards, aisles, wiping counter tops, taking trash out, cleaning play yard walls, cleaning play equipment, and play yard toy, etc..

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour
