Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Infrastructure Specialist to support our growing portfolio of assets. This role is responsible for evaluating new acquisitions from a building and infrastructure standpoint, preparing comprehensive 360° reports for ownership review during closing, and coordinating with certified vendors to perform necessary improvements and compliance-related work. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with frequent travel, field inspections, and vendor oversight to ensure properties meet operational, safety, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed site inspections and assessments of new acquisitions from a building, infrastructure, and compliance perspective.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive 360° asset reports for owners to support acquisition decision-making and closing processes.
- Identify deficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvements across facilities and infrastructure systems.
- Source, coordinate, and oversee certified vendors and contractors to perform required work, improvements, and compliance upgrades.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards, safety requirements, and regulatory compliance.
- Track and document project progress, costs, and timelines; provide regular status updates to ownership and management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align infrastructure recommendations with business goals and acquisition strategies.
- Travel regularly to sites across Inverness/Florida, as well as out of state travel with minimal travel expenses provided by the company.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field (preferred) OR equivalent hands-on experience.
- 3 years of experience in infrastructure, facilities, property management, or acquisition support.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, infrastructure components, and compliance standards.
- Experience creating detailed reports, assessments, or due diligence packages for real estate or infrastructure projects.
- Ability to manage multiple vendors and contractors while ensuring accountability and quality of work.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with project management tools a plus.
- Must be able to travel frequently across multiple properties, primarily from the Inverness area.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary Range: $50,000 – $65,000 annually (based on experience).
