What you'll be doing; ● Drive any vehicle supplied by Veolia, having received relevant training ● Carry out and complete daily vehicle checks and daily defect books as instructed ● Ensure that the vehicle is in a roadworthy condition and report any defects to the ● Supervisor or Manager immediately. ● Be responsible for ensuring that the vehicle is kept clean and tidy both inside and out at all times. ● Ensure that all loads are safe and secure by using sheeting systems provided as well as any fall arrest systems to get up, down and on top of the trailers. ● Report any accidents or incidents that occur during the shift immediately to the ● Supervisor or Manager and ensure that the relevant accident/incident report is duly completed and submitted for investigation. ● Ensure that all road traffic rules and regulations are adhered to at all times and that all parking restrictions are observed. ● Ensure the correct completion and submission of tachograph uploads as per the company policy and procedures. ● Adhere to all company health and safety policies and procedures. Once driving duties are completed to assist with any other duties as directed. ● Follow all reasonable instructions given by your Manager or Supervisor.
