Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Water Treatment Operator / Water Tester to support wastewater treatment operations and ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and safety standards. The ideal candidate will monitor treatment processes, perform water testing, maintain operational efficiency, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and optimize wastewater treatment processes to ensure efficient operations.
- Collect, test, and analyze water and wastewater samples.
- Ensure the quality of wastewater collection, treatment, and purification processes.
- Maintain accurate records of testing results, operational data, and compliance activities.
- Identify process issues and recommend technical improvements.
- Support troubleshooting and corrective actions to maintain system performance.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors and external service providers as needed.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.
- Follow all quality, environmental, health, and safety procedures.
- Assist with equipment inspections, maintenance activities, and operational reporting.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in water treatment, wastewater treatment, environmental operations, or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of water testing procedures and wastewater treatment processes.
- Ability to interpret operational data and maintain accurate documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
