Cost Accounting Analyst Intern

This role is a great opportunity for an Intern who has or is looking toward becominga Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, or Plant FinancialController.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• This is a great opportunity to get hands on experience in a manufacturing environment andlearn about the inner workings of how standard costs are developed and maintained.

The primary focus will be reviewing current standard costs with a focus on the following:

• Identify outliers in relation to margin or potential data integrity issues
• Work closely with manufacturing engineers to ensure BOM & Routing are alignedwith current production procedures
• Assist with developing a go forward plan to ensure BOM & Routing are maintained ona go forward basis

Why is this important: Standard Cost is the foundation for ensuring a plant is running efficiently andthat we are going to market with the most accurate costs to produce finished products. This helps toensure that we aren't pricing ourselves out of the market, and ensures that we aren't selling finishedproducts below cost. Success in achieving the above mentioned items will result in the potential fortop line growth and margin improvements, which are key areas of focus for 2026.

• Education: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate bachelors degree inAccounting, Finance, or other related field
• Analytical mindset
• Ability to work cross functionally with Finance, Manufacturing Engineers, &ProductManagers
• Understanding of cost accounting and interest in Manufacturing
• Sees the importance of data integrity, as it's the foundation for making business decisions
• Preferred: Proficiency in SAP
• Full-time availability for Summer 2027

Compensation:

• The compensation range is tied to the market for similarly bench-marked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate's knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range: $18.80-$20.91 USD
