Job Title: GIS Developer
Location: Richmond, Virginia – Hybrid mode
Type: Long term contract
Rate is $40/hr c2c
5 days per week in the office for the first few weeks for training and then 3 days per week in office.
Skills:
· Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS Pro and in ArcGIS Online data management, map creation, and app building.
· Familiarity with database management tools and formats (e.g., Oracle databases and/or PostgreSQL/PostGIS.)
· Basic knowledge in automating geospatial processes using python, model builder, or other techniques.
· Understanding of programming basics.
· Familiarity with Python and SQL, especially in a GIS environment.
· Web mapping experience, especially in an AWS environment and using Mapbox.
Familiarity with other programming languages, especially R, HTML, JSON.
Salary : $40
