WHAT YOU'LL DO: The Quality Supervisor oversees the quality of VENU ’s services and products. Responsible for the day-to-day fulfillment of operational activities and business objectives. This position will be in charge of leading and developing a team of Drivers, Inspectors, and Cleaners. The Quality Supervisor will monitor the productivity, efficiency, and safety of warehouse personnel within our TMO Department.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Works closely with the Director of Customer Service on staffing, and the performance of the Tourist Mobility Services.
- Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of departmental staff.
- Supports the organization’s goals of improving manufacturing quality and efficiency by conducting or assigning inspections, assessing the results and the manufacturing process, and proposing improvements based on findings.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and following company policy.
- Conduct daily huddles and monthly meetings.
- Monitors production and staffing costs, and continually seeks areas and processes that can be streamlined to produce cost savings.
- Tracks inventory levels, orders new supplies, and ensures inventory and storage areas are clean and maintained
- Ensures compliance with safety regulations, and monitors staff to ensure they are following safety procedures.
- Collaborates with other departments and customers and communicates job expectations to employees.
- Prioritizes tasks and manages time to ensure the team meets deadlines.
- Ensures facility equipment and vehicles are properly maintained.
- Tracking expenses related to fuel, storage, and truck maintenance.
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree preferred
- 2-4 years of progressive operations supervisory experience in a theme park, entertainment, or fleet maintenance environment
- Well-developed analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Exhibits a professional attitude in a fast-paced environment
- Mechanically inclined and oriented
- Demonstrates the willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays
- Able to handle difficult customers with diplomacy and tact
