Ventus Executive Solutions is seeking a skilled Senior Engineer to support an innovative program. You will possess deep technical expertise in mission planning, test and evaluation, and advanced technology assessment activities supporting defense-related research and development programs. In this role, you will have experience supporting long range effects initiatives, mission logistics, and complex technical project management efforts. You will independently assess emerging technologies, support technical interchange meetings and design reviews, and develop technical reports and program briefings supporting mission-focused operational planning activities. Part-Time
Travel: Some local and domestic travel will be required 2x per quarter.
Clearance: TS/SCI required
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautics, Operations, Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrated subject matter expertise in mission planning, test and evaluation, and program security implementation.
- Experience supporting defense-related technology research and development programs.
- Experience supporting long range effects initiatives, mission logistics, and complex project management efforts.
- Proven ability to conduct independent technical assessments, evaluations of alternatives, trade studies, and cost-benefit analyses.
- Experience supporting technical interchange meetings, working groups, and design reviews.
- Strong technical leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including experience authoring technical reports and program briefings.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Desired Experience:
- Prior experience supporting Department of Defense acquisition or advanced technology development programs.
- Experience supporting operational planning or mission integration activities.
- Familiarity with defense research and development processes and technology transition efforts.
- Experience working within classified or highly sensitive mission environments.
