Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Denver, CO (Hybrid)
Work Schedule: Hybrid/Remote Flexible – Onsite every Tuesday at Denver, CO
Duration: 12 Months Contract (07/06/2026 – 06/25/2027)
Visa: USC/GC Only
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary Business Analyst for vendor-led technology projects.
- Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirements gathering activities.
- Translate business needs into detailed and testable requirements, including BRDs, User Stories, Use Cases, and Acceptance Criteria.
- Collaborate with vendor Project Managers and Solution Architects to validate project scope, assumptions, dependencies, and change requests.
- Develop and support communication plans for system releases and organizational changes.
- Partner with business stakeholders to create training plans, training materials, job aids, and train-the-trainer programs.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), develop test scripts, collect feedback, and manage defect tracking through resolution.
- Gather and refine requirements for internal applications, enhancements, and small-to-medium technology initiatives.
- Participate in production support by troubleshooting issues, reproducing defects, documenting bugs, and collaborating with technical teams to resolve problems.
- Ensure clear communication among business users, vendors, project teams, and technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, ITS Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Product Analyst, or related role.
- Strong experience gathering, documenting, and managing business and functional requirements.
- Experience supporting vendor-managed software implementation projects.
- Hands-on experience with UAT planning, test case development, and defect management.
- Ability to create process documentation, business workflows, and training materials.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project environments.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting government, public sector, judicial, or enterprise technology environments.
- Familiarity with change management, release communications, and end-user training initiatives.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including vendors, business units, developers, and project managers.
