Title : Big Data Developer (Java)
Location : Richmond, VA
Type : Full Time Permanent
Job Description :
• Should be having very good expertise in core java concepts
• Should be having hands on with various scripts like shell scripts, Unix scripts
•Should be having knowledge on crontabs and scheduling cornjobs
• Should have a good understanding of Hadoop or BigData concepts
• Should have hands on experience in writing MapReduce programs, UDFs, Hive query language, Pig scripts
• Should have hands on experience with certain BigData tools such as Sqoop, Flume, etc..,
• Should have knowledge about any of the NoSQL databases
• Should possess a great amount of problem solving ability
• Should be able to create the POCs for each problem/scenario/cases
• Should show interest in learning new BigData tools/concepts in short time
