We're hiring a Senior Python Software Engineer to join a rapidly growing AI startup building voice and SMS agents for dental, ophthalmology, and dermatology providers. Backed by strong growth and preparing for its next funding round, this is an opportunity to join at a pivotal stage and shape both the product and engineering team.

What you'll be doing

✅ Build and scale high-performance AI platforms handling real-time voice and messaging

✅ Own products end-to-end—from architecture and design to deployment and iteration

✅ Design scalable, reliable systems used by enterprise healthcare customers

✅ Work directly with customers to solve real-world problems

✅ Grow into an engineering leadership role as the team rapidly expands

We're looking for

✔ 6 years' experience as a Backend or Full Stack Software Engineer

✔ Strong Python skills (TypeScript also beneficial for full-stack engineers)

✔ Experience building and scaling production systems

✔ Background in both high-growth startups and established tech companies

✔ Strong Computer Science or STEM degree from a leading university

Nice to have:

• GraphQL

• React

• Distributed systems experience

📍 Location

San Francisco (currently remote until the SF office reopens, then 5 days per week in-office).
