Venture Steel is growing and we’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to help keep our operations running at peak performance.

• $32.00/hour starting wage
• $34.50/hour Lead Hand rate (where applicable)

As a key member of our Maintenance team, you will:

• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and PLC systems
• Maintain and support production equipment including:

-Slitters

-Presses

-Cut-to-Length (CTL) lines

-Overhead cranes

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance activities
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
• Support continuous improvement and plant reliability initiatives
• Contribute to a strong safety-first culture across operations

• Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities
• Experience with PLC and HMI systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
• Experience with slitters, CTL lines, or cranes considered a strong asset

• Training Period: Day Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) - approximately 2 months
• Permanent Schedule: Afternoon Shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM)
