Venture Steel is a leading national steel service center delivering quality products and services to customers across North America. We're seeking an experienced and detail-oriented IATF Specialist to join our team. This role plays a key part in supporting our quality control processes and ensuring compliance with industry standards, especially IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
Responsibilities
IATF Compliance:
- Lead facility-wide IATF 16949 compliance initiatives
- Coordinate Advanced Quality Planning (AQP) including:
- Control plans
- FMEAs
- Operator instructions
- Quality procedures and validation testing
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment (steel or automotive industry preferred)
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards
- Experience with calibration tools; familiarity with GageTrak preferred
- Understanding of steel properties and metal products
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
