$10 billion International Hedge Fund - New York (USA)
$200k - $250k Bonus
Venture Search is working with a multi-billion dollar Hedge Fund who are actively hiring a Quant Researcher to join their team after two record-breaking years. We are looking for someone to join their Quantitative research team. This is an exciting opportunity for the candidate to jump straight in and begin developing ways to improve their current trading systems by creating new systematic signals to diversify the firm's tactics.
Main responsibilities
- Research and create strategies for improving the effectiveness, profitability, and reliability of current trading signals.
- Creating high-quality predictive signals.
- Develop and research portfolio construction to optimise maximum performance.
- Be able to handle multiple projects at the same time when requested.
- You would lead the full strategy research cycle from signal generation to implementation.
Requirements
- Hold an advanced degree in a quantitative field such as data science, statistics, mathematics, physics or engineering.
- Strong knowledge in statistics, machine learning, NLP or AI techniques.
- Coding skills required in Python.
- More than 2 year’s experience.
- Strong capacity to communicate with technologists, data scientists and traders.
- Track record in delivering successful systematic strategies.
