Venture Search is working with a leading Chicago-based prop house, looking for a driven and experienced systematic options market maker to join their high-performing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in options trading, ideally with a systematic focus. You’ll work closely with a skilled group of Traders & Researchers to help refine and expand their options market-making business.
What You'll Do:
- Improve and expand on the existing Alpha
- Collaborate with a high-caliber team on trading systems and strategy integration
- Contribute to building and improving automated trading platforms
- Apply rigorous quantitative research to real-time trading decisions
- Take ownership of key trading system components and outcomes
What We’re Looking For:
- 3 years of hands-on options market-making experience
- Strong knowledge of US derivatives markets & dynamics
- Solid grasp of market microstructure
- Proficiency in Python or similar coding languages
- Excellent judgment under pressure and a collaborative mindset
- Experience working with treasury or index options is a plus
