Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. This position is in the oil and gas industry and knowledge is a must. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and maintaining relationships with existing clients. You will leverage your sales expertise to analyze market trends, identify customer needs, and effectively promote our products and services. This position requires a strong ability to engage with clients through cold calling and upselling techniques while managing your designated territory. We are looking for someone with at least 3 years experience in outside sales.
Duties
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify potential leads and opportunities for growth.
- Engage in cold calling to generate new business and expand the client base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular follow-ups and support.
- Utilize Salesforce for tracking sales activities, managing customer interactions, and reporting on performance metrics.
- Collaborate with inside sales teams to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
- Identify upselling opportunities within existing accounts to maximize revenue.
- Manage territory effectively, ensuring coverage of all potential clients within the assigned area.
Skills
- Proven experience in technical sales or outside sales roles.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software for managing customer relationships.
- Strong understanding of territory management principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs effectively.
- Experience in upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales growth.
- Familiarity with inside sales processes is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
