Develop professionally through expanding our capabilities with innovative trainingCreating Outstanding Patient Experience:Interpreting the results of eye examinations, using prescriptions written by Optometrists and/or OphthalmologistsAdvising patients on frame weights, materials, styles and colorsRecommending lenses, coatings and frames to suit customers’ needsMeasuring customers to determine suitable types and styles of framesAdjusting frames so they fit properlyPreparing orders for glasses and contact lenses by checking prescriptions, lens thickness and other specificationsMaking sure that orders for glasses and contact lenses have been processed accuratelyCommitted to providing quality health and eye care for all patients in a timely and efficient manner.Handles customer concerns with highest level of integrity and professionalismAlways represents themselves to the highest level of professionalism in both speech and presentationAbility to listen closely to patients wants, needs and concerns. Able to explain options, instructions and solutions clearly for patients.Have a strong working knowledge of optical tools to make final adjustments and repairs to eyeglassesInterpreting and explaining patient’s vision insurance benefitsMaintaining inventory of frames and other optical suppliesCreating Outstanding Practice Experience:Perform business tasks, such as maintaining sales records compliantly to HIPAA requirementsWorking with the Doctors and practice staff to ensure the best patient experience through effective communicationSharing their knowledge and skills with colleagues, improving the performance of the practice team overall and ensuring high quality careExhibiting highest level of professionalism and teamwork with practice staffResponsible for the business aspect of the optical, comfortable making decisions and has a strong knowledge of sales and inventory management.Living the Vision, Mission and Core Values:Act like a business owner and offer idea’s, solutions and improvements to leadership teamOwning mistakes and always striving to improveBeing passionate about the business, patients and team members, always striving to go above and beyondWork with team members in a collaborative and supportive wayAct with the highest integritySkills and Qualifications:Training and/or certification in optical dispensing and/or fitting contact lensExcellent attention to detail, particularly for interpreting prescriptions and checking lensesStrong communication skills and the ability to explain technical information clearly to customersFamiliarity with optical productsThe ability to work effectively as part of a teamFollow all state and federal regulations regarding licensing and CE’sStrong sales abilityExcellent patient service advocateExcellent team player and constantly works to improve self, environment and businessRequirements:
