This role works closely with the firm's partners to monitor federal policy developments, prepare client-facing materials, and support advocacy efforts across a variety of industries.
Responsibilities
- Monitor Congressional and federal agency activity.
- Research and analyze legislative and regulatory developments.
- Draft client updates, policy memos, and briefing materials.
- Attend and summarize Congressional hearings and events.
- Support client meetings, proposals, and special projects.
- Maintain organized records and assist with internal reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in political science, public policy, communications, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in government affairs, Capitol Hill, a trade association, consulting firm, or federal government preferred.
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
