Gas Scheduler Gas Supply Houston, TX Venture Global LNG (“Venture Global”) is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company’s two Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global’s modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost. We are currently seeking a Natural Gas Scheduler to join our Commercial Operations team. This role will report to the Director, Gas Operations & Logistics and have responsibility for daily pipeline nominations, monitoring supply interruptions and managing pipeline balances on feeder pipelines that supply Venture Global’s Interstate pipelines. Responsibilities Include: Entering pipeline nominations for gas purchases and sales on a timely basis complying with the pipeline’s cycle deadlines Passing relevant upstream and downstream contract information to third parties ensuring nomination accuracy Balancing pipelines daily by validating all deals and updating transportation movements in the Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) system Monitoring pipeline informational postings for maintenance schedules, capacity constraints, and any relevant tariff changes including commodity charges and fuel changes Verifying new service agreements and updating any relevant fuel and commodity charges to accurately capture variable costs Building and maintaining positive relationships with feeder pipeline scheduling representatives Participating in an on-call rotation plan to provide scheduling coverage outside of normal office hours including holidays and weekends. Assisting Back Office during their settlement process providing pipeline support for volumetric discrepancies Desired Qualifications (Education, Experience, & Skills): Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, supply chain, or another related field 1-3 years of experience in natural gas pipeline scheduling Familiarity with Energy Trading Risk Management (ETRM) systems Working knowledge if Interstate Pipeline EBBs Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint Inquisitive and Analytical nature Ability to work effectively on short notice and provide coverage outside of normal office hours, including holidays and weekends.
