Designer, Civil Engineering Houston, TX Venture Global LNG (“Venture Global”) is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company’s Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global’s modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost. Position Overview: We are seeking a talented civil designer to join our team who will produce engineering drawings and 3D design models of grading, drainage, paving, and roads utilizing AutoDesk Civil 3D. The candidate will produce detailed and accurate 3D design models that comply with all the civil design criteria. Also, the candidate should be detail oriented, willing to use basic geometric math for creating design models, and be able to keep track of multiple tasks with separate deadlines. The candidate must also have a wiliness to learn and implement new and more efficient ways of producing 3D Models. This position will be located in our Downtown Houston office and is a Monday - Friday in-office role. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering or 2-5 yrs experience. 2-5 years' minimum relevant experience in refining and petrochemical industry, LNG Project, preferably with EPC experience    Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and Civil 3D Key Responsibilities: Develop 3D design models and drawings for our projects Check 3D design models and drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with all aspects the civil design criteria. Keep projects on schedule by utilizing efficient methods for producing drawings and 3D design models Skills Must be capable of utilizing Autodesk Civil 3D to create Alignments, Profile Views, Profiles, Assemblies, Corridors, and Automatic labels Venture Global LNG is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
