Truck / Tractor Trailer Mechanic - Level A

Venture Express, Inc., an established transportation company, is in immediate need of a Truck / Tractor Trailer Mechanic in the Jackson, TN area. Venture Express is excited to be advancing in the area and looking for great talent to come join our team. This position will be part of our growing business and dedicated to a local OEM.

Pay - $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Mechanic must be able to complete the following:

• DOT Related Repairs Including but not limited to:

o Brake Diagnose and Repair/Replace

o Tires Diagnose and Repair/Replace

o Exterior Lighting Repair/Replace

o Exterior Labeling and Decaling

o Suspension Diagnose and Repair

• Other Repairs including but not limited to:

o Major Engine diagnose and repair
o Major Electrical diagnose and repair
o Satellite Communication devices diagnose and repair
o Air Conditioning diagnose and repair
o Able to use Cummins Insight Software for engine reading and additional diagnostics
o Misc Trailer Repairs as required by management

Employee will be responsible for:

• Repairs as assigned by management
• Maintaining a clean work environment
• Providing own standard tooling
• Using computer maintenance software to manage time and repair details

Mechanic must have 4 years of experience in Class 8 Tractor work.
