Job Description
The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing diesel engines, mechanical systems, and other marine equipment. The ideal candidate should have experience working with diesel-powered equipment and be comfortable working in a shipyard environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably in a marine or shipyard environment.
- Knowledge of diesel engines, mechanical systems, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Ability to use common mechanical tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to work safely in a shipyard environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
