Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dependable CDL Driver to join our team. This position is Monday-Friday. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a Sanatation Truck. You'll be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries, performing routine vehicle inspections, and adhering to safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Sanatation Truck.
- Drive assigned routes efficiently while adhering to scheduled delivery times and traffic regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT standards.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Ensure cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered on the road.
- Follow all safety procedures related to driving, load handling, and vehicle maintenance.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle operated (manual transmission experience is preferred).
- Proven experience in truck driving.
- Experience operating specialized trucks such as Sanatation Trucks
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards for commercial drivers.
- Strong driving skills with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to handle loading/unloading tasks .
- Current medical card.
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
