Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the overall maintenance of the apartment communities and areas related to the day-to-day maintenance operations of the communities.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
· Maintains the appearance and functionality of the landscaped areas of the community. This will include grass cutting, trimming, pruning, groundskeeping, and plant installation.
· Perform routine maintenance, such as plumbing repairs, drywall repair, minor electrical work, painting, etc.
· Perform minor adjustments on HVAC systems, property equipment, and fixtures, at assigned locations.
· Perform preventive maintenance procedures.
· Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows, etc.)
· Assist in the clean-up of common areas.
· Inspect property to identify potential and current needs.
· Performs all other duties or work as needed or required.
· Operate personal and/or company vehicles for travel between sites or other duties.
· Responsible for supporting the safe and efficient operation, monitoring, and basic maintenance of the property’s waste management facility.

· Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception.
Requirements for Position:
· High school diploma or equivalent. – Required
· Valid Driver’s License – Required
· Current Insurance Policy for Driver and Vehicle – Required
· A Reliable Form of Transportation
· HVAC Certification. – Preferred (not mandatory)
· 2-3 years of maintenance technician experience. – Preferred
· 2-3 years of related general repair experience. – Preferred
· Basic working knowledge of plumbing, painting, HVAC, electrical, and/or other general repair skills or the ability to quickly learn these skills with property training. – Required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
