Possession of a High School Diploma or a GEDANDComplete at least 48 semester units of study at an institution of higher education (college level)ORObtained an associate's (or higher) degreeORMet (passed) an assessment that demonstrates knowledge of and the ability to assist in teaching reading, writing, and mathematics OR reading, writing, and mathematics readiness. In addition to the above standards, applicants must demonstrate competence in higher level math skills required in a high school program and the ability to use computers, software and other technology tools and resources relevant to providing academic support to high school youth.
