Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
- Handle responsibilities associated with inventory accounting, including cost accounting, variances analysis, and reconciliations.
- Assist in the monthly close process, ensuring accurate and timely results.
- Work closely with the manufacturing team to understand and report on production costs, inventory movements, and discrepancies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and accurate financial data.
- Manage multiple projects and deliverables with tight deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting regulations and standards.
- Participate in continuous process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance the efficiency of the accounting department.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in public accounting or financial reporting.
- Familiarity with inventory/manufacturing accounting.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with inventory/manufacturing.
