Job Summary

Under the supervision and direction of the Director, Special Populations, provides intervention instruction, supervision and utilizes academic assessments to monitor student progress in English Language Arts and Mathematics for eligible migrant students; in collaboration with school staff, assists students in improving academic skills and reaching performance goals; establishes cooperative and effective working relationships with students and adults; creates an attractive and safe learning environment; maintains necessary records and files relating to the program; utilizes appropriate supplies, materials and equipment for the program; maintains a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students; and participates in professional development activities.

Requirements / Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Valid California Multiple or Single Subject Teaching credential Bilingual English and Spanish preferred LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid California Driver’s License
