The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of community facilities to support a safe and welcoming environment. This role ensures high standards of cleanliness across shared spaces while contributing to a positive resident experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform routine and deep cleaning of community facilities, including common areas, restrooms, and shared spaces, ensuring consistent adherence to cleanliness standards
Maintain organization and sanitation of assigned areas, identifying and addressing cleaning needs proactively
Safely operate cleaning equipment and use appropriate cleaning agents in accordance with safety guidelines
Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and report maintenance or repair needs to leadership
Work collaboratively with team members while also managing assigned tasks independently
Provide courteous and professional interactions with residents, guests, and team members
Maintain flexibility and efficiency in a fast-paced environment, adjusting priorities as needed
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to work 8am-4pm weekend schedule
- Prior housekeeping, janitorial, or related cleaning experience
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable attendance and consistent work ethic
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in residential communities, hospitality, or similar environments
Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and products
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical requirements can vary, but generally, they may include:
- Lifting: Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds on a regular basis
