Reports to: Facilities Manager and Executive Director
Qualifications:
1-2 years of building and grounds maintenance experience and HVAC experience preferred, but not required
Great customer service skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Experience in a residential community (Preferred)
Flexible scheduling, weekdays/weekends, holidays, etc., and response to after-hours emergency calls
Pool Certification is a Plus (Preferred)
Job Duties:
- Maintenance Technician maintains all facilities, including but not limited to all equipment and property
- Inspect all facilities and equipment as needed for operations and any potential hazardous conditions which may or may not exist.
- Report any problems to Facilities Manager immediately.
- Work on daily and weekly plan activities.
- Assess urgency of work and recommend priority to Facilities Manager.
- Keep, maintain, mark and secure Community Property (tools).
- Reasonable availability for after hours emergencies to include occasional weekend rotation.
- Check and inspect all Community trails daily.
- Maintain inventory of all supplies needed for the Community as approved by the Community budget.
- Regular maintenance of facilities.
- Assesses materials needed for repair issues in advance and consolidates procurement time & travel.
- Monitor all restroom facilities and supplies.
- Maintain order and cleanliness of maintenance office, supply shed, and immediate yard area.
