Role Description
We are hiring a Part-Time Technology Support Specialist at Ventis Consulting Group.
This role is for a local candidate in Beaver County or the surrounding Pittsburgh area who can assist with on-site and remote IT support for schools, businesses, and municipal clients. The position is ideal for someone with hands-on technical ability, strong people skills, and a willingness to work in different environments.
Main responsibilities include troubleshooting computers, printers, classroom technology, Microsoft 365 and Windows issues, basic network and hardware support, security tool support, and documenting work through our ticketing system.
Position details:
Would start out as Part-time position, 15 to 25 hours per week
Flexible daytime schedule, Monday through Friday, some work from home & some on-site work in Beaver County PA.
Pay range: $18 to $30 per hour based on experience
Mileage reimbursement provided
Training available & lots of opportunity to grow with a young company.
Potential to grow into a full-time position
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with 1 to 3 years of IT support, helpdesk, or field technician experience preferred. Experience with Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, networking basics, printers, cabling, and general IT troubleshooting is important. Google Classroom, Chromebooks, and Smart Board experience are a plus, but training can be provided.
Candidates must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and be willing to complete or provide required background clearances because some work may take place in schools and municipal or police facilities.
