Position Summary
A growing manufacturing company is seeking a Junior Help Desk Technician to support daily IT operations for both corporate and plant users. This individual will provide first-level technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, assist with onboarding/offboarding activities, and help maintain stable IT operations across office and manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, phones, and user accounts
- Troubleshoot Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, email, and basic network connectivity issues
- Respond to help desk tickets, phone calls, and walk-up support requests in a timely manner
- Set up and configure new user workstations, software, and peripheral devices
- Support password resets, user access requests, and Active Directory account management
- Assist with inventory tracking for IT hardware and software assets
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff or external vendors as needed
- Support plant floor technology including barcode scanners, label printers, and manufacturing workstations
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures
- Assist with routine system maintenance, updates, and IT projects
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred
- 1–2 years of Help Desk, Desktop Support, or IT Support experience preferred
- Basic understanding of:
- Windows 10/11
- Microsoft 365
- Active Directory
- TCP/IP networking concepts
- Printers and peripheral troubleshooting
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience supporting manufacturing or warehouse environments is a plus
- CompTIA A certification is a plus
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ticketing systems
- Exposure to ERP or manufacturing systems environments
- Familiarity with mobile devices and remote support tools
- Ability to learn quickly and support multiple technologies
