POSITION TYPE: Full Time. In office daily. Monday through Friday 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
3-month contract. Possibility of extending longer.
Requirements of the Accounts Payable Specialist:
Associate s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, nice to have. High School diploma or GED required.

Requirements of the Accounts Payable Specialist:
Associate s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, nice to have. High School diploma or GED required.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, which includes performing accounts payable activities.
- Able to process payment runs, reconcile statements and provide support for vendors.
- Hospitality or restaurant accounting experience required.
- Experience supporting multiple locations, properties, or business entities helpful.
- 2 years of experience with Restaurant 365 (R365) accounting software experience would be a major plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel and an Accounting or ERP System.
Duties of the Accounts Payable Specialist:
- Responsible for ensuring that invoices are accurately processed and paid in a timely manner across multiple locations and business entities.
- Process and accurately classify invoices in the accounting software. Ensure invoices are coded to the correct general ledger account and business entity.
- Review invoices to ensure they have been properly approved by the appropriate property or location.
- Prepare vendor payments by utilizing discount opportunities, verifying federal ID numbers, and scheduling payment runs.
- Resolve purchase order, contract, invoice, and payment discrepancies and maintain appropriate supporting
documentation. - Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
- Calculate and report applicable sales tax requirements based on paid invoices.
- Investigate discrepancies and work with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Assist with other accounting and administrative duties as needed.
