As we continue to grow, we are looking for a 2nd Shift Supervisor to join our team. This position will be located at Ventek Solution's Menomonie, WI plant and report to the Production Manager. The shift hours are 3:30pm to Midnight, Monday through Friday.
The Shift Supervisor will provide leadership and direction to a team of production employees responsible for assembling Integrated Materials solutions. This role ensures that production goals are met while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with proven experience in manufacturing operations and employee development.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, and support production employees during assigned shifts.
- Monitor daily operations to ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate workflow, assign tasks, and manage resources to meet customer and business demands..
- Track performance metrics, prepare shift reports, and communicate effectively with management.
- Foster a positive team environment by promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred; OR equivalent experience in manufacturing leadership.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive results in safety, quality, and productivity.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems a plus.
- Willing/able to work second shift schedule (Mon-Friday, 3:30pm to Midnight).
