What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pool Attendant position at VENTANA CANYON ALLIANCE LLC?
The Lodge at Ventana Canyon Golf & Racquet Club is seeking a Pool Attendant to ensure a safe, clean and enjoyable pool environment for members and guests by maintaining cleanliness, enforcing rules, assisting with equipment, and providing customer service.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness of the pool area, including skimming the top of the pool, clearing the deck of debris, tidying restrooms, and surrounding areas.
- Assist with the setup, distribution and collection of pool equipment like loungers, umbrellas, towels, balls, and pool games, etc.
- Responsible for collecting and washing used towels.
- Vigilantly monitor the pool area to prevent accidents and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Providing customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive guest experience.
- Performing water quality checks, by ensuring appropriate chemical levels and addressing any imbalances.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with other pool tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Skills/ Abilities:
- Friendly and helpful, able to communicate effectively with guests.
- Attention to detail, careful in observing the pool area and its users.
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position
Education/Experience:
- Must have CPR certification
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. frequently.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
