This role serves as the technical interface between customers and internal teams, guiding evaluations, deployments, and expansions. The position contributes directly to significant annual revenue growth through customer acquisition and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical contact for customers throughout evaluation, integration, and adoption.
- Understand customer use cases and align them with appropriate photonics and computing solutions.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Sales teams to ensure successful onboarding and deployments.
- Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and solution recommendations.
- Maintain visibility into customer environments, technical needs, and growth opportunities.
- Support sales teams in opportunity development and pipeline management.
- Represent QCi at customer meetings, industry events, and technical forums.
- Support technical scoping and contract discussions.
- Track industry trends in photonics, high-performance computing, and optimization technologies.
- Contribute to driving multi-million-dollar annual revenue targets.
- Master's degree strongly preferred; Bachelor's degree acceptable with relevant experience.
- 5-10 years of experience in photonics, optics, advanced computing, or related technologies.
- Experience supporting complex technical products and customer integration efforts.
- Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience in technical customer success, solutions engineering, or pre/post-sales roles.
- Background in photonics-based systems, optical components, or HPC architectures.
- Experience with technical sales cycles, product evaluations, and system integration.
- Exposure to optimization workloads or computational modeling.
- Experience in fast-paced technology organizations.
