The Firm was established in 2004 by the Owners/ Principal Partners, Larry O'Brien and Chris Tartaglia. There are currently 17 full-time employees on staff, consisting of engineers, architects, drafters, permit expeditors and administrative support staff. The Firm focuses primarily on Private sector projects of a commercial and/ or industrial project nature. We are recognized as a local Industry leader in the retail petroleum, convenience retail and fast-food development sectors in the LI/ NYC Market.
Position Summary
Civil engineer with a minimum of 5 years-experience in civil design/ site planning for small to midsize commercial and mid to large scale industrial and residential projects.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency in AutoCAD a plus but not mandatory (designer/ drafters are on staff to support Engineers).
- Proficiency with English writing/ grammar skills is an absolute must.
- Candidates must be willing to be trained for such tasks as part of their development with the Firm.
Education & Experience
- Experience with stormwater management/ design and SWPPP preparation is mandatory.
- PE license or evidence of serious pursuit of licensure is desirable but not mandatory.
- Experience / familiarity with testifying at Municipal Board hearings/ meetings is desired but not mandatory.
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering.
- 5 years-experience in civil design/ site planning for small to mid-to-large commercial and mid to large scale industrial and residential projects.
Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
