QA Lead is needed to perform the following duties: Lead and coordinate the testing efforts across multiple projects and releases to ensure software quality standards are met Manage end-to-end testing strategy and planning for concurrent software releases. Assign tasks, review progress, and ensure testing deliverables align with business goals. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to maintain QA timelines and quality metrics across diverse applications. Analyze and review business requirements, functional specifications, and design documents to develop comprehensive test strategies and plans. Collaborate with business analysts and developers to understand requirements, identify test scenarios, and create detailed test strategies covering scope, entry/exit criteria, and risk areas. Create detailed test cases, test scripts, and traceability matrices based on system requirements. Design test cases in JIRA/XRAY aligned with functional specifications and maintain traceability matrices ensuring complete test coverage and compliance. Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing for web and enterprise applications. Execute manual and automated test cases across multiple environments to validate UI, APIs, and backend components. Coordinate UAT sessions and provide consolidated results and defect logs. Drive and manage defect triage meetings, track defects through resolution and closure using tools such as JIRA and XRAY. Organize and lead defect review sessions with developers and business stakeholders. Prioritize issues, assign owners, and ensure timely resolution through continuous monitoring in defect-tracking systems. Collaborate with development teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues. Serve as the primary QA liaison performing root-cause analysis, verifying fixes, and ensuring alignment between business expectations and technical implementation. Oversee test automation planning and execution using industry-standard tools and frameworks. Define automation scope, select frameworks, design reusable scripts, integrate into CI/CD pipelines, and ensure high coverage and reduced manual effort. Ensure adherence to QA processes, documentation standards, and best practices. Establish and enforce test documentation templates, review process compliance, and continuously refine QA practices to improve efficiency and maintain audit readiness. Provide status reports, test metrics, and recommendations for process improvements to project stakeholders. Prepare detailed QA progress reports, dashboards, and quality metrics to communicate test coverage, defect density, and overall release readiness. Recommend tools or process improvements based on data insights. Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in testing methodologies and best practices. Conduct training sessions on automation frameworks, test planning, and QA tools. Review test artifacts and guide team members in adhering to company standards and continuous learning. Bachelor's Degree is required in Computer Science or Software Engineering or Information Technology or Management Information Systems.
