CNC Machinist / CAM Programmer – Lead 1st Shift

$28.00–$31.00/hr (up to $33 for proven 5-axis programming experience) | Full-time | Mon–Fri, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM | Optional Saturday overtime

Venosa Precast Terrazzo, part of Rosa Mosaic Group, builds premium architectural precast terrazzo, and our plant floor is growing. We’re looking for a CNC machinist who is ready to lead. You’ll run our 5-axis Breton machinery, program toolpaths, and mentor operators.
You’ll get paid training on Pegasus CAM and Breton programming if you have a solid multi-axis CNC background. You don’t need stone or terrazzo experience.
What you’ll do
- Set up and run multi-axis CNC machines (5-axis Breton preferred).
- Turn CAD drawings into production-ready CAM toolpaths in Pegasus.
- Inspect finished pieces against work orders and piece counts. Our standard: “Do it once, do it right.”
- Train and mentor operators on machine setup, tool care and safety.
- Keep daily piece-count logs, manage tool wear, and flag bottlenecks and improvements.
- You report to the Production Supervisor, who handles administrative supervision. You focus on the hands-on technical work.
What you bring
- 2 years setting up and operating multi-axis CNC equipment (required).
- Familiarity with CAM toolpaths and reading CAD drawings or blueprints. Mastercam, NX, Fusion, Pegasus or 5-axis experience is a plus.
- A growth mindset and a desire to mentor others.
- Ability to work in an active plant (dust, moisture, seasonal temperatures) and lift up to 100 lbs.
- Successfully complete pre-screening hiring requirements
