Venezia Tutoring is a rapidly growing, community-based tutoring organization located in Wilmington, MA. We specialize in personalized, high-impact academic support and test preparation. As demand for our programs continues to grow, we are seeking a skilled High School Math Tutor to join our team.

Role Overview

This role is ideal for an experienced educator who can flexibly support students across a range of subjects through the HS level. The position is structured as a 1099 independent contractor role, with pay based on experience.

Tutors must be available for on-site sessions at our office:

📍 Venezia Tutoring, 5 Middlesex Avenue, Wilmington, MA 01887

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging, student-centered tutoring in high school math (Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, etc.)

• Support students in test prep (SAT/ACT math strategies) as needed

• Adapt instruction to meet individual learning styles and academic goals

• Communicate regularly with Venezia Tutoring leadership regarding student progress

• Maintain professionalism in alignment with our core values of personalization, innovation, and community

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred but not required)

• Prior tutoring or classroom teaching experience strongly preferred

• Strong ability to build rapport with high school students

• Reliable transportation to our Wilmington office

• Evening and/or weekend availability is a plus

Compensation & Structure

• Independent contractor (1099) role

• Flexible scheduling within student demand and availability
